Wolfsburg, West Germany: Volkswagenwerk GMBH, 1954. Soft Cover. Good. Softcover, heavy stock brochure; Good+ to VG condition. Text in English, 10 pages (incl. covers), stapled binding, 11.75 x 8.25"". Strictly covering Beetles (sedan, sunroof, convertible); w/ color illustrations (not photos) of each style, 2 page (4 sides) fold-out diagrams of interior, engine, transmission, suspension, etc., specifications. Pamphlet NOT dated, but cars have oval windows & 1 shows semaphore turn signal- placing publication date from 1953- 1955. Cover shows green VW superposed over VW factory. Binding clean, tight & bright w/ trace of v. light age spotting. Interior in similar condition; except some ink notations of price for each style & light pencil computations (all neatly done) of total cost (incl. $60 optional radio & $225 credit for trade-in of a Nash). Looks like someone was using brochure to shop styles- to me, this kind of adds to the copy. No creases or smudges- shows little use, except as noted above. All in all, a handsome, well preserved copy.
