Sobre este artículo
Paris: the magazine, 1938. 32p., folio magazine on newsprint (sound, not too acidic), 17x12 inch stapled wraps, illustrated with profuse rotogravure publicity stills reproduced variously in b&w, sepia and color photography, crowded together amidst captions and short texts. Centerfold is entirely in color (all four sides) with slightly more vivid presswork on slightly heavier paperstock (Dorothy Lamour one of the lucky four). American and French movie stars. A little edgeworn and handled, with a few quarter-inch closed marginal tears here and there, and has an old transverse foldline to entire item-- not a "crease," thank goodness, flattens out well. Otherwise sound, clean and unmarked, a good copy. Expect some unusual angles to familiar faces, some production stills along with the glamour shots, many forgotten yet curiously memorable folk (the usual sort of paradox of celebrity, how'd that face get forgotten!) Laid in at pp.8/9 find a "Programme des salles Parisiennes du 6 au 12 Avril, measures 12x10 inches, abundant cinema listings printed in smallpoint both sides; this item is in very good condition.
