Very good, previous owners name ; very good slight scuffing of dj bottom of spine. The "Fox" searched for the fate of Sir John Franklin's expedition into the Arctic. The "Fox" had its own adventures from June 30, 1857 to September 21, 1859 and brought back news of the fates of crews and officers of the "Erebus" and "Terror." This book is based on the carefully kept journal of that adventurous exploration by the navigator of the "Fox."
