Including an account of the mutiny on board the said ship, and the subsequent voyage of part of the crew, in the ship's boat, from Tofoa, one of the Friendly Islands, to Timor, a Dutch settolement in the East Indies. The whole illustrated with charts, etc. [10] 264p., 4 maps (3 folded), 4 plates (2 folded). Quarto format. NIcely rebacked mottled brown calf. Bit of offsetting from the frontispiece and the breadfruit plate. Four-inch missing tear in the Otaheie map, otherwise only a few minor tears on the other maps. First edition of the original and full account of the voyage and the mutiny against Lieutenant William Bligh (1754-1817).
