Boston: James R. Osgood and Company, 1875. First Edition in English. Decorative Cloth. Very Good. Riou. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Bound in brick-coloured pictorial cloth with black and gilt decorations to front board and spine. Black and white illustrations throughout. Some shelfwear to outer corners and to head and heel of spine. Spine somewhat darkened. Lower page edges show minute trace of damp staining, darkening to tail edge at spine. Also minor damp staining to upper outside corners of prelims and endpages. Damp stains do not affect text. Faint foxing to first and last few pages. Previous ownership inscription to front blank.
