Light blue-gray paper over boards backed with white cloth; paper spine labels with red titles; tissue-guarded frontispieces; laid paper. Covers and spines are lightly scuffed/soiled; square in cases; spines are age darkened and label titles are completely faded; interiors are bright and clean - start to finish in both volumes, most leaves are unopened on top and fore edges - never been read. Large fold-out map in Fine condition in rear pocket of 2nd volume. Pub'd by New Amsterdam Book Co, New York, 1902. 8vo, 715 pp (paged, 355 pp, 360 pp).
