The keepsake records the first visit of a group of thirty-five members of the Societe Royale des Bibliophiles et Iconophiles de Belgique to the United States. 12pp.; 8vo; self wraps; 1964 Belgium issue commemorative stamp affixed to one leaf; plate reproducing a page of the guest book for a special exhibition organized by the Botanical and Agricultrural Socieyt in Gent on the occassion of the treaty. Both are housed in a custom green paper portfolio with green ribbon tie, and the ownership label of Bernard M. Rosenthal on inside lower edge. A post-it note in BMR's hand states: "Gift from Roger de Kesel when he came to Berkeley [and the Bancroft] May 17th, 1996." Roger and Alix De Kesel are listed as members and paricipants in the visit to the United States. Seventy-five copies were printed in reprography in Brussels, April, 1996.
