Small hardcover has blue-gray cloth-covered boards with beige spine and cover lettering and beige and black cover illustration of a cat and a dog drinking together from a bowl under a tree. Blue and white illustrated endpapers. Color illustrations by Lucille Enders and Matilda Breuer. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with some fraying at tips and spine ends. Covers have light surface and edge wear. Name and address written in ink on title page. Contents pages has some items faintly underlined in erased pencil. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. A few pages have light handling smudges; a few have some light wrinkles; a few have dog eared corners; a few have additional remains of erased pencil marks; one page has a small portion of the top corner missing. 140 pages. No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
