Paste-on illustration to front boards. 61 color tables ; black and white illustrations. Clean, tight, bright. 192 pp. Cart modes in the Beidermeier : City car, travel and sports vehicles 1830 to 1840. Elucidated and with an afterword by Rudolf H. Wackernagel. Biedermeier was a period in Central Europe in which the middle-class grew and arts appealed to common sensibilities in the historic period between 1815 and 1848.
