Sobre este artículo

Ithaca, NY: Cornell University Press, 2002. First Edition. From mystery author Sue Grafton’s private research library on crime that she used as she wrote her novels. With the Sue Grafton estate bookplate on the front pastedown, and with a letter of authentication from Grafton's husband. Present are sticky index tabs and a post-it note at places in the text of interest to Grafton and with notations in the text in her hand. 336 pages. Fine copy in a fine bright dust jacket. Sue Grafton (1940 - 2017) is best known as the author of the ‘alphabet series’ which began with A Is for Alibi (1982) featuring private investigator Kinsey Millhone in the fictional city of Santa Teresa, CA - roughly modeled after Santa Barbara, CA where she made her home. Sadly, she did not live long enough to publish the last letter of the alphabet, with her final work being Y Is for Yesterday (2017). The daughter of detective novelist C.W. Grafton, she said the strongest influence on her crime novels was Ross Macdonald. Before her success with this series, she wrote screenplays for television movies.
