Sobre este artículo
Melbourne: Australian National Travel Association, 1936. First Edition. Paperback. Melbourne, Australian National Travel Association, 1936 and 1937. Large quarto, 14 issues (retaining the original pictorial wrappers), comprising over 700 pages with numerous illustrations from photographs. Binder's cloth lettered in gilt on the spine (lettering now a little dull); cloth slightly rubbed at the extremities and a little marked, with some small flecks of (possibly) white paint on the rear cover; contemporary ownership signature (Mavis E. Randell) on the front free endpaper, with her surname written neatly on some front wrappers; overall, in excellent condition. The cover title of 'Walkabout' changed several times, however these 14 issues represent the complete subset when it bore the title 'Walkabout Geographic Magazine. Australia and the South Seas'. There is much Indigenous Australian, North Australian and New Guinea content, and the photographic illustrations are of significance.
