Signed and lettered by Scott Phillips on the limitation page. This is copy D of 104 copies bound in quarter morocco and marbled boards. The book is unread, tight and square with sharp tips and clean unmarred boards. Textblock is clean with no writing bookplate or markings and not BCE, ex-library or remaindered. Dust jacket is Fine with some mild rippling to the spine (see photos). The book is protected in a Mylar Brodart cover. Slipcase is pristine. The sequel to the award-winning The Ice Harvest, this novel concerns Gunther Fahnstiel's escape from the Lake Vista Nursing Home, confused, frail and desperate for a haircut. His stepson Sidney posts a $12,000 reward for Gunther's safe return, unaware that Gunther has just run into the daughter of an old flame.
Sinopsis
Scott Phillips is the author of the national bestseller The Ice Harvest , which was a finalist for the Hammett Prize, the Edgar Award, and the Anthony Award, as well as a New York Times Notable Book. He was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, and lived for many years in France. He now lives with his wife and daughter in Southern California.
