First Edition, ix, [13]-309pp. Very light wear, else VG+ in a G, early dust jacket which is not price-clipped, and with a moderately darkened spine, and small open tear at top of rear panel, and smaller open tears at head and tail of spine. From the Foreword: "These little records of some excursions made by what Mr. James called 'a visiting mind' first saw the light of public countenance in the pages of various publications." Apparently, these 22 essays had appeared in various publications..
