Simon and Schuster, 1948. 1948 "A" Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Dust Jacket. This is one of the old Little Golden Books with the brown paper over the spine. The only copyright date shown is 1948 and there is the letter "A" on the corner of the last page. The book is in Great condition! The pages are perfectly clean with no soiling or tears (except the prior owner wrote their name in the "This Book Belongs To" box). The covers are also clean and in great shape with some light edgewear. The brown paper label over the spine is fully intact with no chips. I would rate the overall condition of this book an 8.5 out of 10. We always ship carefully in a sturdy box.
