First trade edition. Errington A101(a)*Presentation copy, inscribed and signed by author on upper free endpaper. The Wanderer was a four-masted barque built in 1891 by W. H. Potter & Sons, Liverpool. In addition to the prose account, the book contains two tales in verse, of her setting-forth and of her end, some shorter poems of the sea, plus a Masque of Liverpool in verse.
