Virtually no discernable wear. Inside pages are clean, bright and unmarked. Dustwrapper has some edge-wear, impression marks on the rear panel, and light shelf rubbing. A collection of Russian fairy tales retold in English. Arthur Ransome originally collected the stories in Russia while living there before the Russian revolution. He published one volume of them in 1916, and was never able to publish the second volume, as he intended, before he died. This volume was published in the centenary year of his birth. .
