Published in 1932, the volume provides a Preface by John Galsworthy (who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in the year of this book's first publication), as well as works by Susan Glaspel, Stella Benson, David Stewart, Katherine Anne Porter, Winifred Holtby, Karl Capek, Martin Armstrong, W. H. Goddard, George Bernard Shaw (winner of the 1925 Nobel Prize in Literature), and many others.
