Presentation copy from the author's daughter. The author was born near Natchez, Mississippi. She was corresponding secretary of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, and was president of the Kentucky branch of the National League of American Penwomen. She resided in Louisville, Kentucky for many years. This is her second book of poetry. She apparently followed the major events of World War II and sets them down in poetic form.
