Illustrated dustwrapper, showing soldiers advancing with a pen jutting towards the title, with white coloured background and black, red and yellow coloured titles to the front pane and red and black coloured titles to the back strip. White background has become grubby and the edges are rubbed. Minor wrinkling to the top and bottom dust wrapper edges. Pat Burgess, himself a War Correspondent takes a look at how Australian reporters came to their pre-eminence, quoting extensively from their reports often filed in the heat of battle.
