Rice focuses on Third World countries of China, Viet nam, Algeria, Phillipines, Malaysia, Central and South America, some reference to Am. Revolution. This is Rice's copy, the front endpaper has a letter pasted that's from his book editor stating "... Here it is at last...after all the revisions...", reference is made to review copies going out soon. This is as early a copy as possible, the letter is SIGNED by writer/scholar Laird Easton who was his editor at the time.
