Sobre este artículo
Paris, France: F. Cajani, 1844. Original mixed media (etching/engraving) print of George Washington by Ernest Monnin (19th century, French) after the drawing by Louis-Etienne Guémied. Image size is 7 1/8" by 5" on a 7 1/2" by 5 3/4" sheet of wove paper (margins are trimmed). Hart 112a. Baker 153. A full-length portrait of Washington in uniform with a field glass in his right hand and his left hand resting on the hilt of his sword; there are a palm tree, a soldier, and a horse in the background. This is a rare print--Baker only saw one example while researching his monumental study of Washington portraits. The print is an excellent impression on reasonably clean paper, with some slight bleed-through from a 2-inch long stain on the verso that is limited to the white area near Washington's right arm.. First Edition. Paper. Very Good. Illus. by Louis-Etienne Guémied and Ernest Monnin. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Fine Art Print.
