Sobre este artículo

NY: Pantheon. As New in As New dust jacket. 1994. Stated First Edition. First Printing. Hard Cover. 0679434690 . Stated first edition. Quarter bound in publisher's wheat cloth ober tan boards, green lettering on spine and cover. In these seven interrelated stories we are again invited to Port William, Kentucky. Rich with humor and wisdom, this collection describes the depth of affection and tolerance for eccentricity that these neighbors bear toward one another, and highlights the comic and often poignant ways they cope with the intrusions of the 20th century into their idyllic, agrarian world. Wendell E. Berry (born 1934) is an American novelist, poet, environmental activist, cultural critic, and farmer. A prolific author, he has written many novels, short stories, poems, and essays. He is an elected member of the Fellowship of Southern Writers, a recipient of The National Humanities Medal, and the Jefferson Lecturer for 2012. He is also a 2013 Fellow of The American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Berry was named the recipient of the 2013 Richard C. Holbrooke Distinguished Achievement Award. On January 28, 2015, he became the first living writer to be ushered into the Kentucky Writers Hall of Fame.. Both the volume and the unclipped dust jacket are in perfect, pristine, condition; unmarked, unread, tight, square, and clean. AS NEW/AS NEW.. 8vo 8" - 9" tall. (x), 210, (1) pp .
