Sinopsis
The Water-Buffalo Children is a story for 6-9 year olds, based on a tale from Buck’s own childhood in China. In this tale, we follow the adventures of three young children–one little American girl, a Chinese brother and little sister, and a water-buffalo named Da Lobo.

Many many years ago, I read this book. still remember it with pleasure - was about to recommend it for my grandson. It was a teaching work, as well as pleasurable. I still remember the Chinese children's response to our smell because of eating butter. That is prolonged retention. It obviously made a real impression on me.
