The book was presumably signed at The National Arts Club Twenty-eighth Annual Literary Award Dinner honoring E.L. Doctorow held at their Gramercy Park locationon Feb 6,1996. Included is an invitation, on which one of the attendees has written quite a few comments. All books bubble wrapped and shipped promptly in a box.
