G.P. Putnam's Sons/The Knickerbocker Press, 1911. First. Hardcover. Good. This is not a reprint, this is the first edition of the book by neurologist Dr. Joseph Collins. Blue cloth boards are faded and stained, with darkening to the spine strip cloth. Gilt titling on front board is faded, with more significant fading to gilt titling on spine strip. Heel and head of spine strip have heavy shelf-wear, with significant bumping to heel. Wearing and discoloration to all the cloth on all edges of the boards. Previous owner name on FFEP. FFEP and first flyleaf page are crimped at bottom corner. Hinge cracked between FFEP and 2nd fly leaf page, which is dirty at bottom corner. Pages 285 to 308 have small crimps at bottom of the text block. Text block shows aging, and staining. Pages are unmarked. Back paste down has a faint pencil erasure at very top. Nice reading copy. 313 pages.
