Bound in blue cloth with gilt lettering on cover and spine, and gilt emblems on front cover. 394 pages. With two illustrations on coated paper, both present. Top edge gilt; fore-edge deckled. The cloth shows only very light wear at the extremities. Hinges tight; binding square. Prior owner's stamp ( a Yale graduate) on the front endpaper, otherwise unmarked. A clean, tight copy. Less common than the 1895 edition. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall
