Sobre este artículo
Renton, WA: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1928. First Edition Later Printing . Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. The beloved (at the time) American aviator shares his story, in 318 pages with original photographic illustrations throughout & black-and-white photo frontispiece of the Lone Eagle by his plane. Orig. published in July 1927, this is the 31st Printing from June, 1928. Foreword by Myron T. Herrick, then U. S. Ambassador to France, where Lindbergh had just been wildly celebrated upon landing his trans-Atlantic flight in Paris. Hardcover octavo has deep blue cloth-covered boards with yellow lettering & picture of a plane on front cover & lettering to spine. Condition is only FAIR, downgraded due to external dampstaining to lower fore edge sides of both front & back boards. Does NOT impact interior pages, just cosmetic damage outside. Insides are very clean, binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Pages off-white with moderate tanning, commensurate with age. Former owner's embossed stamp on dedication page. NO DJ (missing). Please see our photos--they show the EXACT book you will receive from us, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have on hand! Description & photos property of Gargoyle Books.
