Kaysing was head of the technical presentations unit at the Rocketdyne Propulsion Field Laboratory from 1956 to 1963 and during this time he held security clearances with the U.S. Air Force and the Atomic Energy Commission. The Moon hoax was supposedly discovered by him and presented to the world in 1976 and although the man is mostly remembered for that controversial bestseller he also wrote some interesting books on sustainable living, privacy, hot springs, homelessness, cooking, and other topics." .
