Prize plate stuck to front endpaper reverse side. Black and white frontispiece. Binding remains firm. Crinkling to pages at gutters. Front hinge is cracked with netting exposed. Pencil inscription to front endpaper. Pages are moderately tanned throughout. Heavy foxing to front and back pastedowns and endpapers. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. There is bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Tanning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is darkened. Book has a slight forward lean. Slight loss to spine head.
