Sobre este artículo
New York: Random House, 1942. First Edition. First Printing. Octavo (21cm); brick red cloth, with titles stamped in silver on spine; dustjacket; viii,269,[3]pp. Inscribed by the author on the front endpaper: "To Frances, through whose loving hands all these stories tenderly passed - Irwin." Light wear to spine ends, some offsetting to pastedowns and endpapers, with a few tiny scuffs to right edge of textblock, and some very faint and tiny spatter marks on rear cover; Very Good+. Dustjacket is unclipped (priced $2.00), dust-soiled, edgeworn, sunned at spine and extremities, with a few small nicks, tears, and creases (one of the tape-mended on verso), and some corresponding spatter marks on verso; Very Good. Shaw's second book and second collection of short fiction, with a most compelling inscription (we have, alas, been unable to identify the recipient).
