Sobre este artículo
1915 (Jarrold, London) h/b 205pp teg b&w frontis EX-LIBRARY Tight copy with quite clean content except for odd minor spot of foxing, EX-LIBRARY WITHDRAWN markings, external aging & stains to closed edges, gilt decorated red cloth covers front (sl faded on spine) but in very good order (edges unfrayed, with just a tiny bump one corner) -- SCARCE. This production of Borrow's English translations from old Welsh & celtic texts inspired by "Thomas J Wise, Bibliophile, Bibliographer & Good Borrovian" .... an interesting printed credit-reference to the infamous collectibles fraudster (prior to exposure, of course), and whose own works are now themselves highly sought after. Text on fine textured paper is lifted by red ink titling, sub-titles & enlarged initials throughout (suggestive of old celtic manuscripts). Welsh Poems & Ballads (George Borrow 1915 HB)
