Published NY: Morrisania, 1886. 4to., 7 3/4" x 11", vi+281pp. illustrated frontis engraved plate of author, 2 folding maps, tables, ALS laid in. Quarter bound leather and marbled boards, peach endpapers. Backstrip lacking, leather and edges worn. Internally very good, pages clean, bright, unmaked. Folding maps in very good condition, each with a minor tear in the margin attaching to the book. Scarce, and scarce to find that is not ex-library. . 1st. Hard. Good/No Jacket, As Issued. 4to.
