Auburn, NY: H. C. Southwick, 1817. Hardcover. Poor. 8vo in the original morocco, recased with a later spine, title and ruling in gilt. The book appears to have been exposed to high heat. The leather is blackened and partially chipped away from the underlying cardboard. The first few leaves are heavily darkened and very brittle, the front hinge is reinforced with archival tape, the title page is chipped. A portion of page 47 is torn away and some text has been lost.
