Screenwriter Cockrell is best known for the seminal film noir, "Dark Waters" (1944), directed by Andre De Toth, and went on to write for television between 1956-1966, including original stories for "Perry Mason," "Johnny Staccato," "Alfred Hitchcock Presents," and "Batman."
Peach titled wrappers, noted as Second Draft script on the front wrapper, rubber-stamped copy number present, dated March 13, 1947, with credit for screenwriter Cockrell. Distribution page present, integral with title page, with receipt intact, number stamp, date, and screenwriter credit again present. 152 leaves, mimeograph duplication, and last page number is 150. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine, internally bound with three rusted gold brads.
