Very Good/Acceptable. 0x0x0. 1931 Association Press (New York), 4 3/4 x 6 1/4 inches tall brown cloth hardcover in publisher's unclipped dust jacket, gilt lettering to front cover, leaves printed only on recto side, lx [60] ff. Very slight rubbing and edgewear to covers. Very slight chipping to the bottom edges of the first couple of leaves. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - in a moderately chipped and edgeworn dust jacket which is nicely preserved and displayed in a clear archival Brodart sleeve. ~F~ [1.0P] Edward I. Bosworth (1861-1927) attended Oberlin College and Yale University. He then received his B.D. from the Oberlin School of Theology, and his M.D. after studying at the Universities of Leipzig and Athens. Bosworth became a pastor at the Congregational Church at Mt. Vernon, Ohio. He taught New Testament language and literature at Oberlin School of Theology from 1887 to 1927. He was the first Dean of Oberlin Theological Seminary from 1903 to 1923 and was President of Oberlin College from 1918 to 1919. Bosworth was also a member of the Advisory Board for the American Bureau of Personal and Vocational Psychology.
