Illustrated hardback, by Rachell Sumpter, with dark red coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Valentino Achak Deng was a member of the "Lost Boys of Sudan" programme to emigrate to America. The author has taken Valentino's life story and blended with fiction to tell the story of Valentino and his trials Sudan and in America, the stories are told in parallel. A little softening of the back strip edges with bumping of the lower book corners. Age toning of the text block edges. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [8], 9 - 475, [3] pages..
