An attractive Peace Pledge Union publication, undated, however published in 1936 and following the earlier and more common Chatto and Windus and Harper & Brothers edition. Yellow stapled wrappers in beautiful Fine condition, staples slightly rusty but firm. Not listed in Eschelbach/Shober; Author and Brave New World novelist Aldous Huxley, pacifist and member of The Peace Pledge Union, states his case and counters 12 typical pro-war arguments, making an attempt "to provide who feel that war is an abomination, all who will that it shall cease, with an intellectual justification for their attitude" (from the introduction) ; 8vo; 36 pages .
