On the front paste down is the interesting & elaborate custom bookplate of the once well-known book collector & author, Frederick W. Skiff. The Dalton autobiography is one of your bookseller's all-time favorite outlaw books. In scarce dj, which is chipped 3/8" across top of backstrip & a bit at the bottom of same. The backstrip is also somewhat dark. Couple of minor stains on the back panel. Scarce. Howes D39, 6-guns 549.
