The Bobbs-Merrill Co., 1911. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine. FIRST Edition with the FABULOUS illustrations throughout by H.Chandler Christy. Spine crown and foot fabric gently bumped. Full color paste front has itsy chip at edge and very-very mild foxing. Corner tips barely worn, with crown and foot edges bumped. This copy has a wonderful 'back story' having two presentation inscriptions, to each other - dated 1925, first to a woman "Ginger" from Tom, while in Greenwich Village, NYC. The other inscription from 'Ginger", noting her time in NYC at the Empire Room, Waldorf Astoria, dancing with "Tom", the above gentlemen, when he gave her this volume. Both notations on blank front end-papers. Very special 'history". Otherwise, clean and tight. Gift condition. Unpaginated.
