Sobre este artículo

U.S.A: Penguin Books, 1993. Paperback. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7?" - 9?" tall. Trade Paperback in Good+ Condition. Clean tan wrappers with white titles, orange spine, faint irregular discoloration on front, back of cover has a crease, pages unmarked, quite clean, toned. Sixteen essays that portray Stegner's enchanment with the West, capturing in words what the land has taught him, not only about nature but about the human condition. He tells of his family's migration through boom and bust towns in the West in the early decades of the 20th century, of his sesrch for 'home'. He both defines and mythologizes the West. And he provides wonderful profiles of such writers as Wendell Berry, John Steinbeck and Walter Van Tilburg Clark, this introducing the reader to a rich western literary tradition. 227 pages. 5 x 7.75 inches . 1993, Penguin Books, USA
