Central Maine RR, 1918 Undated circa 1913-1922. 5" wide x 8' tall, very well-preserved, Near Fine. Large tinted folding map in the rear, removed, bagged and placed with rigid 1/4" foam board to further preserve its integrity. A few small holes at fold junctures are noted. 16" x 22" printed on very thin paper, ready for framing. The book has 34 pages plus six additional pages of ads, 40 total + covers. Includes Photos and descriptions of places to go in those areas for the avid sportsman; angler & hunter as well as hikers and campers. Many 'Camps' and regional hotels are pictured and written about. Stiff card covers with FC Art illustrated in colors by Joseph Knowles. NOTE: As part of the New England transportation monopoly organized by the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad, the SR&RL operated as a subsidiary of the Maine Central Railroad from 1912 until receivership in 1923. Unusual and Quite Scarce.
