On the inside rear flap of the second issue dust jacket, it commences with the statement "Winner of the 1964 Caldecott Award" and concludes at the bottom with "Chosen Number. One/Best Illustrated Children's Book of 1963 by the New York Times." Hardcover. Oblong - 9 x 10”. Unpaginated [37 pp]. Good in a good dust jacket. The dust jacket is protected in mylar. Minor to moderate soiling and toning to the dust jacket with chipping, minor creases and short closed tears to the extremities. Chipping to the cloth along the edges of the boards. Internally very good. The interior appears unmarked. The binding is solid.
