Griffith with...the hope that this book...directed by your genius, clothed in the last word process of color and music will be a perfect feature, ranking side by side with your Broken Blossoms and Birth of a Nation.” The book appears to be an incomprehensible mishmash of mystery, yellow-peril, Hollywood, with some fantasy bits thrown in.
