xix+185 pages with appendix. octavo (8 1/4" x 5 1/2") bound in original publisher's black cloth with gilt lettering to spine in original pictorial jacket. Second printing. In this book the author takes Latin America as a whole and discusses various economic and social aspects of the situation, raising questions of population, industrialism, trade, labor and education, without attempting hasty conclusions. Condition: Corners gently bumped. Jacket corners chipped, 2" missing from spine heal, 1/4" missing from spine head, spine sunned else a very good copy in a fair jacket.
