The book is tight, straight, with no text markups. The spine lettering is faded, otherwise a VG copy.

Very Good. 2nd printing 1929, very good blue cloth hardcover(no dust jacket) shows mild shelf wear that includes a tiny closed tear at spine head, touch of bumping to corners, couple of tiny spot stains at spine, tiny wrinkle at spine, name stamp at front pastedown and someother light trace wear. Still a solid copy of this work edited by the noted professor and historian.
