The present title was decided upon by the author shortly before his death". It was first published under the original title in Paris in 1929. Octavo. Original green buckram, spine lettered in gilt, front cover with device of phoenix in gilt, top edge gilt. Spine faded, some light soiling to covers, browning to free endpapers: a very good copy. Roberts and Poplawski A50c.
