Quarto in original quarter bound tan cloth and marbled boards, title in gilt to spine ,fore-edge uncut. 67 pages including 10 duo tone woodcuts by William Farleigh. Neat previous owner's name to free front endpaper, corners lightly bumped, slight spotting to endpapers. Binding firm, text and woodcuts clean. The novella is a recasting of the resurrection of Christ as narrated in the New Testament. The man who survives his crucifixion comes to celebrate his bodily existence and sensuality.
