LIMITED EDITION OF 2000 COPIES. 97pp. Bound in green cloth centrally stamped with the Lawrence phoenix in gilt, spine lettering and top edge gilt; a handsome clean bright copy. This is essentially THE ESCAPED COCK under a new title. The text of the two editions is substantially the same, although certain technical differences are to be noted. The First American edition was published from new plates [McDonald p. 68].
