Sobre este artículo

New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1964. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. First American edition. Octavo. 207pp. With a name stamped in gilt on the cover ("H.D. Fargo Jr.") and their tiny ownership signature on front pastedown. Just about fine in a partially price-clipped and evenly toned, very good dustwrapper with light wear and a small interior tape repair at the spine base.

This copy notable for a 12-page ad for Peterson Engineering Co., Inc. (Creators of PENGO products), bound in. The pamphlet is printed on glossy paper and illustrated with tensioners, earth digging teeth, and augers the size of a person. Company president Gerald A.M. Peterson writes that, on a European work trip, he spoke to 130 people about the assassination, 129 of whom believed "President Kennedy's assassination had been planned, directed and executed by a powerful organization and that one man could not have done it unaided." He seems to see it as a sort of moral duty to "reproduce this significant volume for the permanent libraries of our friends throughout the world."

While not an uncommon book in its own right, *OCLC* seems to located only a single copy (in Hungary) cataloged with the Petersen Engineering ad bound in. A fascinating edition.
