Sobre este artículo
Miura attempts one of the most audacious feats: skiing down the world's highest mountain. The book documents his vision, the meticulous preparation, and of course the event itself. An enthralling tale which dusts off the age-old ideals of honour and glory. At the same time, a keen focus is also given to the life of an Everest expedition: the Sherpas, the crew, and of course the mountain itself. A fascinating tale.
The book is in very good condition. Pages are remarkably clean and bright, unmarked and uncreased with just the most minor spots of foxing at the top edge. A previous owner has signed their name in small letters in biro hidden under the front flap. DJ is unclipped, with a little shelf wear at the top. All now protected in professional clear book wrapper. 170 pp with 42 colour and B&W photos
